A 13 year old railway

The Kof looks brilliant, love the moss growth in the track too.

Nice !! I want to open my Kof shunter. But I need a refresher course on where the screws are located to remove the hood.

Stainz class loco "Rusty" is due some tlc at the factory at Linz (from whence it came).
The flat wagon was made by Fred (The Dragon), I put a couple of rails on at the requisite gauge.
Köf shunter has the task of towing the lok to the works.
Earlier in the day the train had to wait at Purgstall.

It does Paul, but not the tunnel at the mine above Gstadt station, but there is no reason to take the lok up to the mine

Excellent pics as usual Paul - the track bed is maturing nicely.:)

Always impressed by the detail on this railway. The track bed looks brill as does the foliage. Love the foot crossing in the station, very rickety. I notice you have some of the LGB railway track side signage, are these still available? or from another supplier?

Thanks Duncan. I think you can still find the signage if you look at Grootspoor, Modell-land or Champex Linden sites.
Failing that, there's always Ebay.de
A fellow Austrian G scaler (798.03) kindly donated the signage to me a few years ago.

Your line reminds me of my visit to Romania (Visseu de Sus), a slight air of (intended) neglect, especially the Shed shot above. I shall have a good look for some signage.

Thanks John. Hopefully the photos give ideas to others - just as I get inspired by photos of garden railways past and present.

That's my thoughts on posting photos too Paul :):)

Great to see your photos Paul!

I really miss not having my own layout at the moment....

Great pictures Paul, I missed looking at them while I have been away playing with Lionel trains indoors. I have begun working on my outdoor layout again, bringing in buildings that need repair and I put a LGB 2015D in layaway at the LHS as the line lacks any motive power. Hopefully a U series or a Stainz will come in later this year at the shop. I know he has a couple collections coming soon. Keep the great pics coming! Mike
