A British Locomotive?

Only too happy to oblige. The set has been in service for a few years now and the advertisements are fading so will need replacing shortly. I had some interesting problems keeping the cars coupled until I had the brainwave moment, and found all that was required was to glue the 'hook' to the loop of the trailing car!

Thanks, that looks great! The advertising signs make a big difference.

Those couplings can be a bit of a pain. I ended up making some tramway style link and pin couplings for mine.

Not quite a 'British Locomotive' but my BR Green DRBs are very popular performers.
The reason for the photo is my finally completed English Station, still needing a bit of levelling here and there, but the entire scene was just grass a couple of months ago!

This was how it all started.

Are you going to re-paint the buildings to represent the 'new' operators colours??
;):p:giggle::giggle::giggle:

I am keeping the Station colours as they are for now, but Blood and Custard will beckon when they need repainting in a year or two.

The latest additions to the fleet are a short rake of L&B coaches from TerrySoham via GSC Sales section, and they entered service today for the first time after some running repairs.
They are completely in keeping with the feel of what I am trying to achieve and even had an Ex L&B locomotive to haul them.

Hi Dave,
Can you tell me where you got the Virgin transfers from for your LGB LCE conversion please?
Regards Trevor
Hullo Trevor,

I don't think Dave has posted anything on the forum for quite some time.

Might be worth starting a 'Conversation' with him.

Look for the squarish icon next to the bell and magnifier, top right of the forum pages....
