Looks like it could be the same set of stock as well, though I expect the rear red one may have been repainted.

Loco 613 is now withdrawn, as is the coach with the long windows, a one off.Looks like it could be the same set of stock as well, though I expect the rear red one may have been repainted.
Yes, much less variety now. Somewhere I have a picture of the interior of the 1st class coach with the long windows when my son and I found it on an evening trip down from Arosa. I've also got a pic of an Allegra facing off a van on the street section, driver's eye view looking through the cab...Loco 613 is now withdrawn, as is the coach with the long windows, a one off.
There are still a few of the EW1 coaches running on this line, now in Barenland livery, the blue Arosa livery now long gone. All of the other EW1 coaches have now been withdrawn, following introduction of Capricorn EMUs....

Thanksgrizzmo this is coming together SO well, awesome progress! What do you plan on running on the layout when it's ready to go?
You mean a Merc Berk?Looks like an entitled Merc driver from a distance.
A miss is as much as a mile, but well worthwhile creating a gauging piece of wood possibly allowing a bit more than that location, a bit of waste ply will do LABEL IT!I was going to do other work today and probably should of, but the weather was just too nice. Also the tyres and battery holder for the loco turned up today. So more trains than work today
It is a big day here, finally have some track in place. Not much only 3m, but its a start.

The first train to run on the Arosa line closely watched by Doggo.

The longest wagon I have, clearance is only 12mm to the sides here. Not sure if that is too close or not. Might have to do a little sculpting with the grinder and diamond wheel.

Well it's only taken about 10 years of dreaming and a few years of false starts. Plus very nearly one year of hard work on and off but I can say I have a garden railway![]()
That is looking Fantastic Stewie, you have done yourself proud, and the pond looks very natural. Sadly fetch at our place is one throw and that's it, unless your happy to fight her for it..Its been a month, so I thought a updates in order.
I have gotten a bit more done, but as February is our hottest month progress has been real slow.

Siding and future site for Arosa's cement plant, I still need to adjust the back of the hill. To make some more space there. When I have it right I can mortar the rocks in place. The track curving to the left goes to Arosa.

The R1 curved track between the R1 points is not part of the original plan. Adding it in will get me a continuous run a year or two sooner. So I thought it was well worth adding it in as a extra section.

My wife found me these light coloured face rocks on facebook cheap. Will be used as edging at Langwies and St Peter/ Molinis stations. It was well worth the 1 3/4 hour round trip to pick them up, plus they were near our closest hobby shop too.

Now summer has ended , I will be abled to plant out some of these plants I have been growing in the shade.
Got 15 cuttings of miniature pines to strike , so I started a heap more off.
The bigger pines and weeping birch's are from seeds from trees here at home.

Have been dividing up the ground covers under the bench.

I mentioned previously that the pond has a leak. Unfortunately it is behind the big rock at the right side back of the pond. I did put a triple layer of pond liner under it, but I think when I lowered the bigger rock into place It punctured the back of the liner.
Those rocks aren't coming back out so this is now the finished water level. 15cm less than I hoped to have, but it is about 35 cm deep which is plenty deep enough for the White Cloud Mountain Minow that are in there.
Really looking forward to planting the back wall with ground covers to break up the mass of rocks and adding in the waterfall from the filter.
As the water level is lower , I took out a row of blocks at the front to match it.
Now its done I think I like it better this way

You should see his borogroves: all slithy, they are.The Grimpen Mire?
It has been a long , long time since I read through the looking glass. Just about finished listening to mostly harmless, might give alice's adventures in wonderland a listen while I work. No need to take life too seriously after all.You should see his borogroves: all slithy, they are.![]()
