Blagdon & Butcombe Light Railway (b&blr)

With the dryer weather, the work on digging out the new route for the extension has been completed. Wooden steaks for the track level have been added and the start of the fabric underlay (to stop the pesky weeds) has started to go down. Something I should of done first time around  Also the remaining section of the flower bed has been spruced up, with new and old plants being added, along with the supporting walls. Looking good so far!

Been falling a bit behind with updates as of late, but the line looks some what a bit different now, with plenty of progress being made the the new extension.
As can be seen from the pictures below the track is now is place. There was even room for a extra little siding! Which is very handy indeed!
I also set-up a little topic about the wiring of the new section, so that it and the passing loop can be isolated, which can been seen hear; https://www.gscalecentral.net/posts/454506/
A video update of this stage of progress will hopefully be up in the next few weeks, but the railway has progressed even further, it's just finding the time to post pics of it all! Will try and get around to it asap.
Away, here's some pictures of the railway about a month or so ago, showing the track and un-core being put into place, plus the first test train on the new section...

Slowly, slowly, with the land grab there!

There was me thinking you had a largish part of a small garden to play with..
You have given the game away with the 'lawn tractor' and trailer in the background!
<wink and smile> We have had a mains glitch.. Internet very slow, and no emoticons, or 'Home' icon on the site..

Indeed, but I don't think the family would be happy if so :D

Love it. That's looking really good, and very tidy.

But the dog looks so innocent.........
