bit more progress, the goods sheds nearly ready, a few gutting down pipes to do, wire a office light in, do a fire ect but getting there..

Well I entered the goods shed in the national competition at g rail .in its senic items section. .. and won that...it was automatically then entered into model of the year.. against stiff competition. ..
And it won that too..
Started on the rebuild .. the second half..after last year's start ..it's time to start again..I'm going to replace the rotten ply surface .. the frame work is tanalised timber so should be ok..I'm starting in the village ...as after the ply is replaced I can stand on it to work on the station area ...
That was quick work Mike. I noticed you used a large sheet of roofing felt for the old village. Can I suggest that perhaps this trapped moisture and accelerated the rot of the original ply?
I think I'm going to keep clear of ply in future . Not sure on the roofing felt. I get what your saying allan but the ply rotted equally fast were there was no roofing felt..ie the station area....
Striped out the station area last few days..
