Great photos, Mike. I especially like the first one which has that are of mystery - who is the driver waving to? You know it's anothermember of a train crw, of course, but what do they look like? Are they waving back yet?

Spare lengths of rail, I measured the required length, and bent the ends in..then I used clear silicone, a small dab (technical term up north!) on each sleeper that it was going to sit on .and left to dry...it's been 10& years...How did you do the check rails?interesting and look good i may need some on my Bridge.
The groom, at the church is waving too, we are a friendly bunch !! As for the hedge , the wasps nest in it , a few years ago was fun , but this is for the best , I hope , had social services round today , and she was measuring up for handrails to the shed, she was very impressed with the railway. ..I did offer to show her my sheds delights , but she had to go..Great photos, Mike.
