cheers duddly.. nothing exciteing to see,but it is important, well i think so..track power feeds, to my eternail shame, the sole track feed was 2 wires pushed into the gap, between rails, in da shed.. it was ok, on dry days., but in the depth of winter, damp ect , i notice that the power was droipping as you got futher away from the shed.. dont forget, although all the track is railclamped, its like a chain.. only as good as the weakst link.. so if one joint breaks, or starts giveing problems, all track past said jiont will be down on power, voltage ect.. belts and braces i surpose. but ,i think its worth doing..
i got some wire, and tabs.. little plates with a bolt hole in it, you soilder the wires to.. and set up on the decking
while a train ran.. well why not..
i had preveusly, left, a track feed wire, strung under the railway, it gose all the way around the railway..so all i have to do , is conect the tabs,to the railclamp bolts , and break into the track feed wire.. i used the standard chochalot block conecter.. power feeds are one per sideing, 2 per passing loop, and every point.. and inthe tunnle, and shed..18 in total..
time , reliablity, will tell..
