funnly enough neill.. there is going to be a beam engine, in the boiler room, round the back,next to the working chimmy.. sound will, thanks to0 chuggy (ian)..waffed out of the engine room as the beam engine swings into action.. beam engine ia a airfix kjit,arived this morning, hensce no boilker house/engine house, as i want to sizes it ..chimmy will be plumed into a disco fog machien..

If that were a building south of the Thames, I'd have said the bricks were Ockley Double Diamonds, but oop north, you have the gault clays, and I'm not familiar with the local bricks of the region (well, apart from Staff blues that is)

cheers ian, round here, it tends to be stone, in sunny whitworth, but.. Facit mill, the large mill in google maps be hind the bungalow.. was in brick, i surposse A later building than the other, stone mills.. this is roughtly what im working to.. local brickwork tends to be a oringey red mixture, or full acrkrington brick red.. didint fancey a united mill:rolf:
