cheers folks.. takeing on bord the commentds the voices in my head , and pondering .. it became apaernt that the chimmy looked too wide?(thanks steve) so 2 cm was removed from thre width and depth.. after that.. well i added a wider base, to add depth of surport,and the cap.. today i got it painted.. and started on the flueway ladders..
trains ran, the sun shone.. bliss
anglia has kindly designed this wonderfull advertyiseing hording, for the mill, i will hopefully figure a way to make a weather proff version to go out side, and use it on the mills delivery lorrys

If you let me have the artwork and a size I can laminate one for you and post it back...

Excellent,Mike. That chimney is really going to look the part. Although buildings look big on the bench, they shrink on the railway, but you can only build 'em so big. Chimneys are one of the things you can build big, so its great to see you have a go at one.
I thought I had some white lettering for SP MILL down the chimney, but sadly not. Keep up the good work.

aghh ..:rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf:
ladders took all day.. but worth it me thinks.. what do you think?

nice!

Chimney looks the DB now, Mike.
Are you going to get a load of sweeps on the top rim, with chimney brushes, all singing, "Chim Chimney, chim chimney [etc. etc]?

was thinking of a certin bolton steple jack stood at thebottom, looking upwith a brew alec..
ta mark:thumbup::thumbup:

And a tacky old Landrover at the bottom?
Do like the uphill shot of the chimney though, it does make it look very 'real' indeed.

Grand, really grand:thumbup:
