PatienceCan any one recommend an affordable stockist?
Track length 29m
- 2 packs of 20 1.5m rails
- 97 tie strips 300mm
- 6 packs of 10 rail joiners.
Is there anything else I would need?

Top Slots now work from home, as it were, and were still in business in November 2022. Member JimmyB was awaiting an order from them then so he may know moreThank you Maxi Model
Thanks for your advice. Its seems its just as hard to find a shop open these days.
I have tried to contact TopSlots n trains, but i think they might be shut!
Some of the online dealers are proving difficult to deal with.
* some say couriers will only take 1metre long packages!!
TopSlots included, many of us are one-man cottage industries..Thank you Maxi Model

Maybe thread drift, but to put the record straight, I noticed this on the Tenmille website last year and (in July 2022) asked Tenmille . . .it seems now to be code 300 not 332 as was
Maybe thread drift, but to put the record straight, I noticed this on the Tenmille website last year and (in July 2022) asked Tenmille . . .
"I was surprised to see (on your website) that the rail you supply for G Scale track is now described as “Code 300”. The Tenmille G Scale track I have, bought more years ago than I care to mention, was sold as Code 332, and therefore much easier to connect to LGB/Aristo track – something even more important now that you do not offer G Scale points. If it really is Code 300, how long ago was that change made? And (in due course) if I was to buy second-hand Tenmille G Scale track, how can I tell if it’s Code 332 or Code 300? I presume that the sleeper bases are the same."
Lisa from Tenmille replied . . .
"I can confirm the track/rail has not been changed and is still the same as it’s always been and can still connect to LGB/aristo track"
It seems they are in no hurry to correct their website.
Cheers

The late Neil Robinson used to file the ends of LGB rail to match the Tenmille, and then use rail clamps........Still needs adaptors to connect to other code 332 though, different rail profile....
OK, maybe I am not understanding.Maybe thread drift, but to put the record straight, I noticed this on the Tenmille website last year and (in July 2022) asked Tenmille . . .

Try Garden Railway Specialists or Kent Garden Railways, both are live shops. I thought that there was also one in Cornwall somewhere supplying G stuff as well.Thank you Maxi Model

That will be the one, initial net search came up with Simons which confused me also not showing any of our scale products. But clicking on ANG website finds our stuff, weird ghost of a Webb site present?Anything Narrow Gauge, Holsworthy, Devon
That curve, will cause wear, period.
You could change the setup so the loco wheels will wear before the track.
Put in stainless, you won't be replacing track..

Put the video on YouTube, then we can ALL see it.Hi
Thank you for all your help .
I have gone with LGB flex track. And to be honest, although time consuming and working into the early hours. Things went really well.
The track components were a little fiddly, some bits putting many small cuts in my fingers and thumbs'.

This was the first stage. I hadn't joined the track pieces at this point. If you look you can see how much longer the inner radius was.
I have a video but it seems to be too big to upload
Whooo! Never knew that! Thanks.I ended up using Cliff Barker code 200 Gauge 1 stainless track, and I find that pretty much all G Scale stock will run on it without issue.
It works out cheaper than G scale code 250 and I'm pleased with the visual results. It's Gauge widened and very robust, and after 2 years, still looks like new.
No, too much chlorine in the washing machine tablets and high temperatures that rely on steam to cleanYes and we all know about so called stainless dishwasher safe cutlery with rust spots on I expect. But likely since the demise of Sheffield Stainless Steel, a quality product.
