The Logging, Gravel & Brickworks Railway

It carries on its way taking the other route at the junction.

Cracking photos, guv'nor. I particularly like those hoppers: very valuable you know!

Trouble is they have been comtaminated with visable ballast and would need deep cleaning before moving over the border to Ruritiania!!

what balast shorgage?

Since the double tracking of the whole of the LG&B, the railway is now much busier running freight services....

It's quite a challenge to run 2 trains at once (multi-tasking), even on the continous circuits around Weybourne....

I find I'm using the Universal Remote for operating the points and the Loco Remote to drive the trains Alan?

2 controllers is definitely multitasking, and I still get confused!

I've updated the track diagram on my Laptop now, so I'll be using this for routing trains very soon....

with massoth you only need one navigator..

Yeah Phil, but that's a multi-tasking tool in itself! Running 2 trains on the same line I can cope with, as I do at Bigjack's.

But 2 trains in opposite directions, and the points too, is just about as much as I can handle in one go and virtually on the point of brain overload!

That's why I have one remote, or the PC track diagram for the points?

I must post up the new track schmatic soon....

Aren't the two trains on different lines?

Don't often run long trains on the LG&B, as the run round loops and sidings are limited to 5 wagons.

But for a change, I ran a longer than usual freight?

Needed a pilot engine when back at Sheringham though, to take the last few wagons of the back of the train....

Yes Phil, there is an Up and a Down line, but there are junctions to negoitate where the trains might cross and collide....

Managed to get out today and run trains for the second time this year, and it's only February!
