What happened at your workbench today?

This is probably obvious to anyone from Britain, but why are some partitions lower?
Left to right, first compartment for the Guard, next 2, semi open 3rd class, same again for the next 2 and the last compartment 1st class, (although on most Isle of Man coaches these remained 3rd class) hope this helps.

Not off show my efforts here, but this is a Plateway Midels Fish or Ventilated Van which was a Christmas prezzie. Proudly made up on my kitchen table work bench, in between the times it wasn't being used to equip Jedi Warriors and their allies and enemies!
Not too sure about the weathering, it's either too much or not enough!20250210_104012.jpg20250210_104027.jpg20250210_104012.jpg20250210_104006.jpg
The colour was based on my old Hornby Fine Fish van from the early 70's. Unfortunately the correct markings were beyond my skill and a transfer would prcost more than the rest of my stuff put together 17391846284064263512225970976010.jpg

I would not worry too much about the transfers, pretty sure they were a made up Hornby thing. The only ones I was aware of and can find on line were the longer wheelbase Blue Spot fish vans that were initially white but did end up a sort of faded blue much like you have used and the Hornby colour. For my money your big model would not look out of place in an Irish LL&LS Burtonport train.
