Nah... they've not been yellow for ages. I well remember the first time I took my N gauge layout to Germany back in 2003. Ugly, daft, didn't want to move sometimes and required a boot up the bumper* (this sounds like me on a Friday night) but still a chuckle when it was going up & down the branchline. The only part of the railway that I found hard to part with, to be honest.
* If the bloke that bought it is reading, I think it was because I ran analogue using an LGB shuttle unit but the 'bus needs a minimum 5v to start
