Woodlock Logging

Its catch 22 with the vine (which is fake) just to make the wire fence look better. Bloody Rabbit.

New track ordered from Topslots and Trains, so as soon as they get it to me I will be laying the running line. I will update with pictures as and when.

It's time for some rabbit stew.....:p

What a wonderful layout in a small space. And it gives me a chance to praise Topslots who I think are a great supplier, for PIKO and POLA. Darren there is very good, quick to respond and supply, and great prices.

Got to agree with you, fantastic supplier. His website is very clear about stock levels and back orders. Quick and no nonsense. Used Topslots for quite some time now especially for buildings, and price wise, I am happy too.

Oh what could this be........? I have put some in place and will screw down later this afternoon. After a trip to IKEA, on a Saturday, before Christmas. Other half must have a death wish!

After getting soaked in the rain, I have now secured the long drag up Woody Bank! Not much difference in the photos but I like to keep a 'blog' type thing.

Weird the way the track has bent, and been used to support a planter up near the house!!
:worried::(:rolleyes::giggle::giggle:

You have a good eye. I still can't see it.

In my trade I have worked in all sorts of weather. But now the weather doesn't seem to bother me when I want to work in my garden railway.....:happy:

Ahh well, you see, as a signalman I get to watch the pway/s&t work in all weathers, whilst the signal box heating works away. So its a shock to the system at this time of year.

A little more progress today with the start of ballasting, but not as much done as I hoped to. The rabbit looks cosy though....... By the way, this new website is a lot better regarding uploading images, as they no longer need resizing, which always used to put me off posting updates.

A little update of the last bit of track bed. Just waiting for delivery of the points by DHL now, then I can get it finished. I know people said that aerated blocks can be cut with a saw, but I was surprised at how easy it was to cut. Also, some general pictures of garden to give you an idea, whilst the sun is out.

After having a lay in this morning, and checking DHL Tracking, my points were still on hold and ten mins after checking, a loud bang on the door.......... my points, whilst 'shipment on hold'! Anyway, straight outside, and got the rest of the track down, just awaiting my buffers from topslots and trains, hopefully tomorrow, and then I can start ballasting, hey-presto....... done! Then some concrete rabbit proof buildings...... I used to love Tuxcraft.

And look what turned up, just after I posted the last update. My Buffers!

And I read somewhere that you could screw right into the aerated blocks without having to drill... I didn't really believe this until today, and YES you can! After all the hassle of drilling, plugging and screwing the first bit, for no reason! :rolleyes:

Ballasting complete! I just need some rocks now and sedum to help it all blend in to the garden.

And the test, with two locos!
