Interesting to see the inside of a Corpet again, been an age since I stripped one down. Have thoughts to convert one to battery power with Sound and interested in what the small speaker was please? Also where is it in the pic, that little oblong in the left weight?Got the windows printed, and painted...glued in..and glazing done..
Had a mate around and we took his new corpet to bits...just because..
The speaker is tiny but very loud ..View attachment 292472View attachment 292473

Have to say been looking for a good value cheepo U for some time to bodge to a Battery job. Harz (NWE) had a couple 1957-65 1956-59 No’s 71,72 then 995631/2 In DR days. Nicely suit my line though I think they only worked out of Wernigerode and there was not a link to the Gernrode system tilll after the wall fell, but I am prepared to make a concession.Well...a busy weekend, and a very enjoyable one.. it was great to be able to represent, the Llangollen garden railway festival, and meet so meny old freinds , some exciting times ahead I hope ...
Bargin of the year for me was from Mr sausage, aka Graham from garden railway limited, a lined u class with a in correct box,and as Graham said, some issues..
I did ask...and say the price is incorrect but Mr sausage said it was correct..
£60...yes..for that price, it could sit out side all year...View attachment 293189View attachment 293190View attachment 293191View attachment 293192View attachment 293193

Yes there was a time when you could use toothpaste tube in a similar manner, then we got plastic tooth paste tube no doubt with issues of pollution in the paste and micromplastics.Having convinced jenny to make pasta ..
