Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

Another problem, is all these substances, are volatile at room temperature...
So holding a bulb with any of these in, the heat of your fingers will vaporise some of the solvent. - No more vacuum..

Re your problems with plastic weld have you tried the Deluxe Materials equivalent Plastic Magic, it seem to work on the same range of plastics and more importantly comes in squat bottle with a brush built in the cap that isn't child/arthritic hand proof. I used to regularly knock plastic weld bottles over so much so that I kept an old bottle without the child proof cap and put a small amount in the bottom to use. I've been using plastic magic for about 5 years now and only knocked it over once and not much was spilt due to the shape of the bottle.

20211029_141424.jpg20211029_141409.jpgFun and games again today ..but this time I wasn't thinking about other things ..but waiting for it to happen..open a new bottle of superglue yesterday..After throwing away the last..cut the tip of the nozzle as normal..and used it 1 time..put cap on..no dribbles ect...today..it had stuck the nozzle into the lid..again .luckerly I was on the ball..got it apart without sloshing glue everywhere..all I can think is the manufacturer has changed the chemicals in the manufacturing of the nozzle, cap?.
Any how , got the 2 remaining lower walls done and glued into place, and a handy break in the rain aloud me to get it in prima 20211029_143616.jpg20211029_143557.jpg20211029_141442.jpg

Interesting to see the inside of a Corpet again, been an age since I stripped one down. Have thoughts to convert one to battery power with Sound and interested in what the small speaker was please? Also where is it in the pic, that little oblong in the left weight?

Have to say been looking for a good value cheepo U for some time to bodge to a Battery job. Harz (NWE) had a couple 1957-65 1956-59 No’s 71,72 then 995631/2 In DR days. Nicely suit my line though I think they only worked out of Wernigerode and there was not a link to the Gernrode system tilll after the wall fell, but I am prepared to make a concession.

What can I say its been a busy few months..testing between snow, rain ,rain ,rain..you get the drift .
.working on the festival has taken precedent over other things ...as we approach the final few weeks .. its time to take stock..last few days ,,replacement of hillman over clamps with massoth ones.. the work on the shops has been painfully slow but then...I'm slow 20220426_141431.jpg

Yes there was a time when you could use toothpaste tube in a similar manner, then we got plastic tooth paste tube no doubt with issues of pollution in the paste and micromplastics.
