My Hudswell 040 shunter scratch build

Strangest thing, I we did a video of the Hudswell running on the track, but when I try to link it on here, it disappears in my album.
Anyhow, I put it mostly altogether and decided to see what it weighs, is this heavy for a G scale Loco ? 2.346 KG's.462560729_1823663401501023_1509608398931646873_n.jpg

Looks great Alan, don't know if that is light , right or heavy for a small loco. I am only a beginner with computers , but i think you have to load a video to youtube then link it to here. You must be happy to have it running . Look forward to seeing it in action.

At that weight, it should be about right, and have good traction for heavy trains....

Correct, load to YouTube. Then open your vid in YT, select ‘share’ and ‘copy link’. Then paste the link in your post. Ok A Alan McLennan ?

While you are teaching us less computer literate people , how do you put peoples name like you did with Alan's name above in text ? Sorry to hijack your thread Alan.
Type the '@' sign, without the quotes, then start typing the username..
A list appears of options that match. Keep typing to reduce the options, or click on the name you want from the list.

It can be a little slow, for the system to catch up.

This also works with various social media, and electronic communications.

Well Dunny, I put it on YT but had to select a future date for it's release, must be to give your advertising people time to do their work before it comes out,
or I just buggered it up as usual, so 6.12.24 at 12am is red carpet time   ... makes me wonder how I ever remembered to turn the choke off.

Well I will look forward to the premiere tomorrow lunch time, will you put the link to the video in this thread ?

Lol yeah I get where you are coming from , learning to use a computer is all new to me.
We all had to start somewhere, with me it was at work in 1982 on a railway rolling stock and locomotive recording system called TOPS. Bought from Southern Pacific in USA that had used it since the early 60’s.

Hi Alan did you upload a video to utube ? I searched but could not find any new videos on hudswell 040 shunters.
Stewie, I think it worked, still doesn't show as being in my content, can you see it ? , if you can erratic movement is caused by the Driver.
