Today At The Cfr.

Yep - that'll be it - I'll have the red one please.

Without wishing to demean any of the other excellent stock shown, could we please see more of that Royal Mail line-up?

It's just downright cruel to give a sneaky peak... and then move on!

Yes I'd like to see more of RM stock too if you have more Paul. Some great views though - love that little Simplex (is it?) pulling the skips and that shunter's wagon too. In fact, I like the lot! Inspirational!

Sadly Philip this was the only picture taken of the Royal Mail coaches this running session. I will have to check the archives to see if I have any other pictures of them. They are scratch built and the mail bag catcher actually works. The entire train will be in operation during the GCR model event demonstrating mail drops and pick up.

Yes Mick it was a Simplex hauling Binnie skips. As mentioned previously the Shunters wagon and Royal Mail coaches are scratch built.
It was a great running session with six visitors who bought locomotives to run. I only got to have a single run with one of my locomotives.

The coal skips have not been used this year so I decided it was time to give them a run out. Albert, Bonnie and Delia took on the haulage duties.
