I don't think weight was a problem. They were blinking heavy. The chassis design and gearing were just a bit crude.Well it would add weight for better traction, and circumvent any pickup issues..

He's a Phoenix Model Developments figure made of pewter. I bought a variety of figures during the 80's. This one needs repainting.I like the driver standing next to the hard hat sign.
