Trams made in Wuppertal / G scale

I digitised the LGB steam tram for the G-scale layout in the Hanover Wehmingen tram museum. It now runs with sound and smokes.
Something was missing when it was all alone. In September 2021, I bought this conversion of a four-axle trailer that someone had started. I decided to build the trailer for the "feurigen Elias". It should be similar to a trailer of the steam tram of the OEG.

In the meantime I have finished the stage railings on the wagon.
During the installation of the interior lighting, I dropped the cut light guide. When I picked it up, I ran over it with my desk chair... Broken!

Looks to be an interesting place, lots of old iron stored round the back of sundry sheds. Possibly accessible to non car tourists on the 330 bus from Hannover?

@ dunnyrail: Changed approach to the Hanover Tram Museum
Due to construction work, it will not be possible for vehicles to use the K147 district road via Müllingen until probably 17.08.2023. Please follow the detour signs. Please follow the diversions signs. During the construction work, the bus stop Wehmingen will be cancelled on bus line 330. As a replacement, please use Sprinti or bus line 390. Next modell show is next sunday from 11 to 17 o#clock.

We continue with the conversion of the locomotive 5100, Düsseldorfer Rheinbahn and with the freelance trailer for the steam locomotive "Feuriger Elias".

After the delivery of the tram E-lok 608, , yet another small tram locomotive. It came from the Vereinigte Bern-Worb-Bahnen. Previously, this locomotive was on the road in Hagen. Since January 2022, the locomotive is now in Wuppertal at the Bergische Museumsbahn. Metre gauge
In addition, a bicycle trailer of the Stuttgart tramway showed itself to me.
On 01.08.2023 the former loco 608, standard gauge came back from Austria (Stern und Hafferl) to Wuppertal. Three days before it was still in service in Austria. Unfortunately, I could not follow the unloading by two cranes. Finally, articulated cars had to be moved. The photos of the Hagen train Tw 336 with Bw 133 are from June 2022, I forgot to take photos of it at the last driving day. The articulated cars were Rheinbahn 2308 in the condition of March 1957, when he was on the road for some time in Wuppertal, Dee green Estonian air with the No. 396. Also the streetcar 2000 from Zurich as 2042 was in use.

I fully agree, some of my Railcars would fit right in on that line with all the Trams. If only it were closer!
:sunglasses: Ok, there is definitely a way. You send me your trains via post and I take them with me to this layout. Then I take a lot of photos. I promise to you.
There is only one problem. It depends on what you sent me. It could be that a few models can no longer find their way back.

Here I have a few more photos for you. Unfortunately I can't find the other pictures of the steam locomotive and other locomotives at the moment.

The tram locomotive has been given a cosmetic makeover. Steps, bells and handrails on the doors. Only indicators and two more coupling hooks are missing. Today, 9 traffic lights arrived here from China. They looked a bit better in the Eaby advert. I'll have to see what I can do with them.88999-7354.jpg

My electric locomotive 100 is getting closer and closer to completion. For comparison the E 1 from LGB, I had bought an old rusty, dirty version cheap on the internet and then saw the prototype on a photo. I wanted to build it in this version. The green model was built by another modeller. It weighs almost 2 kg. It shows the first version from 1924 at the Kreis Mettmanner Straßenbahnen. In 1937, the Rheinbahn took over the tram operation. It was in service there until about 1970 and stood as a memorial locomotive in front of the Lierenfeld depot from 1991. In 2001, it was transferred to line D in the museum at the Steinberg depot. Here it was renovated by Rheinbahn trainees and is now a jewel in the museum. My version is the modernised version in orange.

Here is the comparison with the original model from LGB.

13.jpg
I'll change the motors with the decoder, so the other E! modell goes to a friend.

Next will be ligthings and paintings.

The faces of the two locomotives.

Unfortunately, it has not been digitised and is very, very heavy.

The museum locomotive of another modeller who unfortunately passed away.

Till next time.

The side by side with an original shows the extent of work required to conver what on first glance appears a same loco. Superb job as ever.

And it goes on. The trailer for the Fiery Elijah has got its paint job and
windows. There are still milled and inserted accurately fitting window glasses. Also the lighting has to be done. But this is done by a friend . He also builds electric couplers. The train will then run a shuttle service on the layout of the HSM Tram Museum.
The electric locomotive 5100 of the Düsseldorf tramway is also nearing the end. The windows are sawn and filed. They are still getting rubber seals. The electrics still have to be wired up and the decoder finds its place. The lettering of the model is present, unfortunately the black digits 5100 are missing.
I'd better leave out a sign saying that this locomotive can only run in the depot, otherwise I might not be allowed to run it on the large layout. - But I want to!
I hope both models will be able to run in Hannover Wehmingen next weekend. There will also be about 22 / 23 guest drivers with their models. If you are in the vicinity, you are welcome to come along with your tram models. DCC Digitraxx will be used.
Peter81658-modell-5100-26.08.2023.jpg
It has still no numbers, but that will come.

81651-modell-5100-26.08.2023.jpg
The locomotive gets headlights, direction indicator lights, tail lights and brake lights. The driver's cab also gets lighting.
